About the Role


We are looking for a strategic, data-driven SEO Lead to take full ownership of our organic search strategy. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical SEO, content strategy, and analytics, and is passionate about driving sustainable growth through search.

You’ll lead the development, execution, and optimization of our SEO initiatives across all digital channels — working closely with content, product, and engineering teams to increase visibility, traffic, and conversions.




Key Responsibilities


  • Own and evolve the end-to-end SEO strategy to grow organic traffic and improve search rankings

  • Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits and oversee implementation of fixes (e.g., crawl issues, Core Web Vitals, site architecture)

  • Develop and execute on-page and content SEO strategies, including keyword research, content planning, and optimization

  • Monitor, analyze, and report on SEO performance using tools like GSC, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.

  • Collaborate with content, product, and engineering teams to implement SEO best practices across the site

  • Lead or support SEO projects including site migrations, international SEO, or local SEO efforts

  • Stay up to date with search engine algorithms and SEO trends; proactively apply insights

  • Define and track KPIs, and continuously test and iterate to improve performance

  • If applicable: build, lead, and mentor a small SEO team or manage agency/vendor relationships




Requirements


Requirements


  • 5+ years of experience in SEO, with at least 1–2 years in a strategic or lead role

  • Deep understanding of technical SEO, including site speed, crawlability, indexing, structured data, etc.

  • Strong experience with content strategy, keyword research, and SERP analysis

  • Proficient with SEO tools: Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.

  • Experience collaborating with developers, product teams, and content creators

  • Strong analytical skills; ability to interpret data and translate insights into action

  • Excellent communication and project management skills

  • Bonus: Experience with large-scale websites, eCommerce/SaaS platforms, or international SEO


Nice to Have


  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from an SEO perspective

  • Experience with tools like Looker Studio, BigQuery, or other data platforms

Understanding of content frameworks like E-E-A-T or YMYL (depending on industry)
