Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and accountable SEO Manager to take full ownership of organic growth and performance across our portfolio of e-commerce websites. The right candidate must be data-driven, strategic, and able to directly link SEO outcomes to business growth.

This role is not for an agency-style manager — it’s for someone who wants to own the SEO success of our brands, make strategic decisions, and lead initiatives that impact sales and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business goals for multiple eCommerce brands.
  • Lead the SEO team, provide direction, assign priorities, and ensure all projects are executed with clear reporting and accountability.
  • Oversee all on-page, off-page, and technical SEO activities, ensuring alignment with best practices and modern search trends.
  • Conduct detailed keyword research and content gap analysis to identify growth opportunities across products and categories.
  • Collaborate with content writers and designers to ensure SEO intent, branding tone, and visual consistency across all assets.
  • Plan and execute high-quality link-building campaigns focused on relevance, authority, and long-term impact.
  • Review and guide technical SEO audits, page speed improvements, structured data, and Core Web Vitals performance.
  • Use analytics tools to monitor rankings, traffic, and conversion results, providing clear reporting to management.
  • Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, AI search models, and evolving user behavior to keep strategies competitive.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate SEO team members to ensure ongoing skill development and accountability.

Modern SEO & AI Readiness

To stay ahead in today’s changing search landscape, the SEO Manager must:

  • Understand Google’s Search Generative Experience (SGE) and its impact on visibility and user intent.
  • Apply E-E-A-T principles (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness) across all SEO and content strategies.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools (SurferSEO, Frase, ChatGPT, Jasper, or equivalent) for content optimization, topic research, and automation.
  • Focus on data-driven decisions using GA4, Search Console, and advanced SEO analytics platforms.
  • Ensure a seamless connection between SEO, UX, and conversion — every action must contribute to measurable growth.

Technical Skills & Tools

  • Strong command of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Experience with GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Tag Manager.
  • Understanding of Magento and other eCommerce CMS platforms is a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of Core Web Vitals, mobile-first indexing, and schema markup.
  • Ability to work with developers to resolve crawl and performance issues.
  • Familiarity with automation and AI-based SEO optimization tools.

Performance Expectations

  • Deliver measurable growth in organic traffic, conversions, and keyword visibility.
  • Maintain consistent communication with management, providing weekly and monthly performance reports.
  • Take ownership of projects — every campaign must show visible ROI and progress.
  • Encourage teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning within the SEO department.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in SEO management, ideally for eCommerce or international brands.
  • Solid understanding of modern SEO, analytics, and marketing automation tools.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to guide a distributed marketing and development team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or IT preferred.
