Key Responsibilities1. SEO Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis and keyword research.
  • Plan monthly SEO targets, traffic goals, and ranking improvements.

2. On-Page Optimization

  • Optimize website content, landing pages, meta tags, titles, and internal linking.
  • Improve user experience (UX) and overall website performance.
  • Ensure proper keyword placement, URL structure, and schema markup.

3. Off-Page Optimization

  • Build high-quality backlinks through outreach, guest posts, and digital PR activities.
  • Manage link-building campaigns and partnerships.
  • Monitor domain authority, referral traffic, and backlink profile health.

4. Technical SEO

  • Conduct regular site audits to identify crawlability, indexing, and performance issues.
  • Work with developers to ensure correct implementation of SEO recommendations.
  • Optimize website speed, mobile usability, and core web vitals.

5. Content Strategy

  • Plan SEO-friendly content calendars with the content team.
  • Guide writers on keyword integration, structure, and tone.
  • Analyze content performance and continuously refine strategy.

6. Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor traffic, keyword rankings, conversions, and SEO KPIs.
  • Use tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly SEO performance reports with insights and action plans.

7. Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Coordinate with marketing, design, development, and content teams.
  • Support paid marketing (SEM) for better ROI alignment.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions on digital growth opportunities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Communications, or related field.
  • 3–6 years of proven experience in SEO management.
  • Expertise in keyword research, link building, and technical SEO.
  • Strong knowledge of Google algorithms and search engine trends.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools (GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog).
  • Analytical mindset with strong data interpretation ability.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with WordPress, Shopify, or other CMS platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (plus point).
  • Understanding of content marketing, SEM, and social media strategies.
  • Ability to lead a small SEO/Content team.
