Key Responsibilities1. SEO Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis and keyword research.
- Plan monthly SEO targets, traffic goals, and ranking improvements.
2. On-Page Optimization
- Optimize website content, landing pages, meta tags, titles, and internal linking.
- Improve user experience (UX) and overall website performance.
- Ensure proper keyword placement, URL structure, and schema markup.
3. Off-Page Optimization
- Build high-quality backlinks through outreach, guest posts, and digital PR activities.
- Manage link-building campaigns and partnerships.
- Monitor domain authority, referral traffic, and backlink profile health.
4. Technical SEO
- Conduct regular site audits to identify crawlability, indexing, and performance issues.
- Work with developers to ensure correct implementation of SEO recommendations.
- Optimize website speed, mobile usability, and core web vitals.
5. Content Strategy
- Plan SEO-friendly content calendars with the content team.
- Guide writers on keyword integration, structure, and tone.
- Analyze content performance and continuously refine strategy.
6. Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor traffic, keyword rankings, conversions, and SEO KPIs.
- Use tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.
- Prepare weekly/monthly SEO performance reports with insights and action plans.
7. Cross-Team Collaboration
- Coordinate with marketing, design, development, and content teams.
- Support paid marketing (SEM) for better ROI alignment.
- Lead brainstorming sessions on digital growth opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, IT, Communications, or related field.
- 3–6 years of proven experience in SEO management.
- Expertise in keyword research, link building, and technical SEO.
- Strong knowledge of Google algorithms and search engine trends.
- Proficiency with SEO tools (GA4, GSC, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog).
- Analytical mindset with strong data interpretation ability.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with WordPress, Shopify, or other CMS platforms.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (plus point).
- Understanding of content marketing, SEM, and social media strategies.
- Ability to lead a small SEO/Content team.
