SEO Manager


Experience required:

Min 5 years experience in SEO


Responsibilities:

On-page:

● Plan, implement, manage, monitor clients SERP

● Analyse, Strategise, plan and prepare monthly website strategies and present to internal and external stakeholders

● Respond to and troubleshoot all SEO issues

● Ensure that the website and other platforms are following SEO best practices

● Conduct regular SEO audits

● Plan communication aligned with the client’s strategy

● Plan to improve the User Experience of the website regularly

● Collaborate with teams and management to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy

● Create strategies to increase website organic traffic and improve SERP rankings

● Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and monitor competitor websites

● Plan and strategize and track promotional campaigns from an SEO lens

● Oversee responsibilities and timely execution of SEO team members

● Manage P&L of the team


Off-page:

● Link analysis of our brands' competition● Maintain a link tracker along with anchor text

● Reach out and follow up with webmasters/authors of shortlisted websites

● Negotiate and close the deal with webmasters/authors

● Maintain a list of webmaster contacts from different niche markets


Technical SEO

Additional responsibilities:

● Ensuring the execution team has the correct brief from each client and are able to deliver the work on time

● Overseeing creation of pitch decks and internal training as needed

● Guiding executives and ensuring their work meet Schbang standards


KPIs:

● At least 2 blog case studies highlighting business impact through SEO strategies implemented (Maximum 1 per brand)

● At least 4 instagram and linkedin carousel features for Schbang page highlighting small wins through strategy implemented (Maximum 2 per brand)

● Participate in at least 2 external website awards

● Conduct at least 4 internal trainings in a year

● Tracking and meeting annual targets

Skills required:

● Excellent understanding of SEO

● Ability to troubleshoot SERP issues in a fast-paced environment

● Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and problem-solving attitude

● Fantastic time management skills

● Ability to manage and work with teams

● Good clear communication

● Google Analytics Power User

● Understand and read website events and codes

● Ability to adapt to new tools and softwares

● Resolve team conflict

● Outstanding communication with internal and external stakeholders
