SEO + SHOPIFY

Gomila Intersole is a luxury handcrafted footwear brand based in Pakistan, known for its made-to-order (MTO) craftsmanship, ready-to-wear (RTW) collections, and bespoke leather goods.
We operate multiple Shopify stores and are expanding globally — with an emphasis on performance, aesthetics, and strong SEO visibility.

Job Description:

We’re looking for an experienced Shopify developer who also understands SEO to optimise and manage our online storefront.
The ideal candidate has both technical Shopify skills and digital marketing awareness — capable of improving site speed, conversions, and organic traffic, while maintaining a premium luxury aesthetic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customise Shopify 2.0 themes (especially Kalles / Impact / similar).
• Develop clean, high-performing collection & product pages (including MTO / Pre-Order flow).
• Improve Core Web Vitals, site speed, and mobile optimisation.
• Implement technical SEO: meta titles/descriptions, schema markup, ALT tags, URL structure.
• Optimise collection hierarchies and internal linking for SEO.
• Integrate analytics tools (GA4, Search Console, Pixel).
• Create or audit keyword strategy for Pakistan, GCC, UK, and US markets.
• Collaborate on content ideas (blog, lookbook, landing pages).
• Ongoing maintenance and performance monitoring.

Requirements:

• Proven Shopify development experience (Liquid, JSON, CSS, JS).
• Experience with SEO (on-page, technical, keyword optimisation).
• Experience working with premium or fashion / lifestyle brands.
• Eye for design and detail — understanding of luxury e-commerce UX.
• Excellent communication and availability for regular updates.

Nice-to-Have:

• Familiarity with Shopify Flow / Sidekick automation.
• Knowledge of Klaviyo or WhatsApp CRM integration.
• Experience setting up pre-order / small-batch / workshop-style pages.

Contract Type:

• Freelance / Project-based (extendable to full-time if performance is strong).
• Immediate start.
