Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled SEO Specialist to join our marketing team and boost NetCom+’ online visibility. You will optimize our website, landing pages, and content to drive organic traffic, increase online conversion, and enhance brand awareness in the competitive edtech market.
Key Responsibilities
  • On-Page SEO: Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and URLs for target keywords Ensure mobile-friendliness and fast load times.
  • Off-Page SEO: Build high-quality backlinks through guest posts, partnerships with edtech blogs, and outreach to Indian tech communities (e.g., forums, LinkedIn groups).
  • Technical SEO: Conduct site audits using tools like Screaming Frog or Ahrefs to fix crawl errors, improve site architecture, and ensure compliance with Google’s Core Web Vitals.
  • Keyword Research: Identify high-intent keywords using tools like SEMrush or Google Keyword Planner, focusing on India-specific search trends .
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with content writers to create SEO-optimized blog posts, landing pages, and guides that rank for educational and tech-related queries.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track performance using Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and Mautic. Provide weekly reports on rankings, traffic, and conversion rates (target: 20% organic traffic growth in 6 months).
  • Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitors (e.g., Coursera, UpGrad) to identify gaps and opportunities in SEO strategies.
  • Campaign Support: Support Meta Ads and webinar campaigns by aligning SEO with paid efforts for cohesive funnel performance.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 2-5 years in SEO, preferably in edtech, e-learning, or B2C industries.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Computer Science, or related field. Certifications in Google Analytics, SEMrush, or HubSpot SEO are a plus.
  • Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in SEO tools: SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4.
o Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for on-page optimization.
o Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress)
  • Soft Skills:
o Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
o Excellent communication for cross-functional collaboration.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of Indian edtech market trends and Google’s algorithm updates (e.g., Helpful Content Update).
  • Language: Fluency in English; Hindi proficiency is a plus for local content optimization.
