Key Responsibilities:
- Perform keyword research and intent mapping, also targeting questions, prompts, voice queries, and answer-engine triggers.
- Optimize website content structure, on-page and technical SEO to support both classical ranking and emerging answer / AI visibility (AEO) (e.g. featured snippets, knowledge panels, FAQ, schema markup).
- Implement structured data (schema / JSON-LD) for content, products, organization, etc., to enable correct identification and extraction by AI models and answer engines.
- Monitor developments in AI search surfaces (ChatGPT, Gemini, Google’s SGE / AI Overviews, Perplexity, etc.) and answer-engine behavior; test how content is being selected, cited, summarized in generative responses.
- Conduct technical SEO audits (site speed, mobile usability, crawlability, indexation, core web vitals, canonicalization, internal linking, etc.).
- Analyze data using SEO tools (Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools), web analytics (GA4 or equivalent), - Build off-page authority: link building, brand mentions, reviews, citations especially from trusted, relevant third-party sources
- Collaborate with content creators to produce content that is clear, concise, with “answer-first” style where appropriate, and that anticipates follow-up questions typical of conversational search.

- Stay updated with algorithm changes, AI model updates, content structuring for GEO/AEO; run experiments / tests to measure effect of new tactics.
- Report and present insights, recommendations and performance metrics to stakeholders; define and track KPIs relevant to both SEO and GEO/AEO.
