About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated SEO Associate to join our digital marketing team. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in off-page SEO, link building, and a solid understanding of eCommerce SEO. You will be responsible for tracking performance, preparing monthly reports, and supporting on-page optimization tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute off-page SEO strategies, including high-quality link building, outreach, and backlink analysis.
- Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, and user behavior trends using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMrush.
- Prepare clear monthly SEO performance reports, highlighting traffic changes, ranking improvements, and growth opportunities.
- Support on-page SEO tasks including meta tags, headings, internal linking, and content optimization.
- Perform technical checks and coordinate with developers when needed.
- Conduct competitor analysis and propose improvements for organic growth.
- Work closely with the content and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are followed across the website.
- Focus on improving organic visibility and conversions for eCommerce product and category pages.
Requirements
- 1–4 years of experience in SEO (preferably in eCommerce).
- Strong knowledge of off-page SEO and link building techniques.
- Good understanding of on-page SEO fundamentals.
- Experience with eCommerce CMS platforms (Shopify, WordPress, Magento, etc.).
- Basic coding knowledge (HTML, CSS, JS is a plus).
- Familiarity with SEO tools: Google Analytics, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of technical SEO elements such as sitemap structure, redirects, schema markup, and crawl optimization.
- Experience in creating SEO reports and presentations.
