Verona Creative Marketing is growing, and we’re looking for a results-driven SEO Specialist (AI-Savvy) to join our team. This is a remote, contract-based, part-time opportunity for someone who lives and breathes SEO... and can prove it. What You’ll Do

As our SEO Specialist, you’ll take ownership of client SEO projects from strategy through execution. Responsibilities include:

Designing and executing effective SEO strategies tailored to each client’s goals.
Conducting in-depth keyword research and competitive analysis to uncover opportunities.
Optimizing websites for both on-page SEO (content, metadata, headings, site structure) and off-page SEO (link-building, outreach, local SEO).
Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms.
Collaborating with our content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into everything we deliver.
Leveraging AI-powered tools and workflows to enhance keyword research, content optimization, reporting, and efficiency.
Providing actionable recommendations on website structure, user experience, and technical SEO.
Staying ahead of search engine algorithm changes and emerging trends to keep clients competitive.

What We’re Looking For

We want a specialist who is proactive, detail-oriented, and can confidently demonstrate results. Ideal candidates will have:

Proven experience (3+ years preferred) managing successful SEO campaigns.
Advanced knowledge of SEO principles, from technical SEO to content optimization and link strategies.
Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.).
Comfort with AI tools and platforms to support smarter, faster, more effective SEO strategies.
Strong data analysis skills with the ability to translate numbers into clear insights and strategies.
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS, and site architecture.
Experience with local SEO and e-commerce SEO (preferred).
Excellent communication skills-- you’ll be explaining results and recommendations directly to our team and, sometimes, clients.
