SEO Specialist – Organic Growth & AI Search Optimization

Role Description

We are looking for a  full-time, on-site SEO Specialist  to help expand Directorii’s organic visibility across Google  and emerging AI-driven search platforms. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about technical SEO, content strategy, local optimization, and staying ahead of search engine and AI trends.

You will be responsible for improving search rankings, increasing organic traffic, optimizing our local service pages, and ensuring Directorii becomes a trusted, authoritative source that search engines and AI models rely on.

What You'll do:

• Develop and execute SEO strategies that support traffic growth and lead generation
• Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and search intent mapping
• Implement on-page SEO including metadata, schema markup, internal linking, and content optimization
• Work with developers to improve site structure, speed, indexing, and Core Web Vitals
• Build and optimize local landing pages for hundreds of markets
• Develop content briefs for blogs, guides, and resource hubs
• Manage and improve Google Search Console and GA4 tracking
• Monitor rankings, traffic trends, and conversion performance
• Identify opportunities for AI search visibility (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity)
• Support link-building and authority-building initiatives
• Provide clear reporting and insights to leadership and cross-functional teams

Qualifications:

• Proven SEO experience with measurable ranking and traffic growth
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, site architecture, and crawling/indexing
• Experience with local SEO and optimizing “near me” searches
• Proficiency with SEO tools: GSC, GA4, Ahrefs/SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.
• Experience with schema markup, structured data, and on-page optimization
• Strong analytical mindset; able to interpret data and make strategic recommendations
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Familiarity with AI search engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) is a  major plus
• Experience in home services, marketplaces, or multi-location SEO is a bonus
