Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Execution

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SEO specialists to meet KPIs and growth targets.
• Develop and implement data-driven SEO strategies for both local and international markets (with a focus on the UK).
• Identify growth opportunities and adapt strategies to evolving search engine algorithms.
• Monitor performance metrics and report ROI on all SEO activities.

Technical & On-Page SEO

• Conduct comprehensive keyword research using tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Google Keyword Planner.
• Optimize site structure, meta tags, schema, internal linking, and other on-page elements.
• Perform technical SEO audits to fix crawl issues, improve indexation, and optimize page speed.

Off-Page SEO & Outreach

• Build scalable link-building strategies (guest posting, HARO, Anewstip outreach).
• Develop and maintain relationships with high-authority domains (bloggers, journalists, publishers).
• Monitor and maintain healthy backlink profiles, including disavowing harmful links.

Trend Awareness & Innovation

• Stay ahead of 2025 SEO trends: generative AI, zero-click searches, and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization).
• Experiment with AI-driven content strategies and optimization tools.
• Rapidly adapt to SERP changes and Google algorithm updates.

Global & Ethical SEO Practices

• Execute international SEO strategies: hreflang tags, geo-targeted content, culturally relevant metadata.
• Drive localized SEO campaigns for specific markets.
• Maintain full compliance with white-hat SEO standards.

Collaboration & Reporting

• Work closely with content creators to ensure alignment with SEO strategies and user intent.
• Generate detailed reports using GA4, Google Search Console, and SEO tools to track growth.
• Clearly communicate SEO performance and growth milestones to stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of hands-on SEO experience (3+ years in a team lead or managerial role).
• Proven SEO success in e-commerce and/or UK market.
• Experience in the vaping industry is a strong plus.
• Advanced knowledge of tools: SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4.
• Understanding of technical concepts: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify).
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical mindset, innovation-driven, and focused on long-term SEO success.
