SEO Team Lead

Job Description:

1. Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business goals.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and keyword research to identify growth opportunities.
• Define KPIs and set measurable goals for the SEO team.

2. Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SEO specialists, content writers, and analysts.
• Provide training, guidance, and performance reviews to ensure team effectiveness.
• Collaborate with marketing, content, design, and development teams to execute SEO initiatives.

3. On-Page & Technical SEO

• Oversee optimization of website content, structure, and metadata to improve rankings.
• Ensure best practices in site architecture, internal linking, and page speed optimization.
• Work closely with developers to address technical SEO issues, including crawlability and indexation.

4. Off-Page SEO & Link Building

• Develop ethical link-building strategies to improve domain authority.
• Build partnerships with relevant websites, influencers, and industry publications.
• Monitor backlink profile and ensure compliance with Google’s guidelines.

5. Analytics, Reporting & Optimization

• Track, measure, and report SEO performance across channels using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
• Continuously optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights.
• Stay updated on search engine algorithm changes and adjust strategies accordingly.

6. Content Strategy Support

• Collaborate with content teams to ensure content is SEO-friendly and aligned with keyword strategies.
• Provide guidance on blog, landing page, and website content creation.

7. Innovation & Growth

• Stay ahead of SEO trends, tools, and best practices.
• Experiment with emerging technologies (e.g., AI in SEO, voice search, structured data).
• Recommend new initiatives for continuous improvement.
