SEO & WordPress Developer

Position Overview

Office Location: Lahore Gulberg Onsite
Office Timing: 10 AM to 6 PM Monday to Saturday
Gender: Both Male Female

Key Responsibilities

1. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

• Conduct comprehensive keyword research aligned with search intent and business objectives
• Perform on-page SEO optimization (meta tags, headings, URL structure, internal linking, schema markup)
• Execute technical SEO audits and implement fixes (crawl errors, indexing issues, Core Web Vitals, site speed, mobile optimization)
• Develop and execute off-page SEO strategies including link building and outreach
• Optimize website content (blogs, landing pages, product pages) for ranking and conversion
• Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMrush
• Stay updated with Google algorithm changes and industry best practices

2. WordPress Development

• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites
• Customize themes and plugins based on project requirements
• Build responsive, user-friendly, and SEO-optimized websites
• Troubleshoot website issues, bugs, and performance problems
• Ensure website security, backups, and regular updates
• Optimize site speed and performance (caching, image optimization, code minification)
• Implement SEO best practices within WordPress (Yoast SEO, Rank Math, etc.)

3. Technical & Performance Optimization

• Improve Core Web Vitals and overall website performance
• Ensure proper website architecture and crawlability
• Implement structured data (Schema Markup)
• Handle website migrations, redirects, and canonicalization
• Optimize hosting and server performance if required

4. Reporting & Analysis

• Track and report on SEO KPIs (rankings, traffic, conversions)
• Provide actionable insights based on data analysis
• Prepare monthly SEO performance reports
• Identify growth opportunities and recommend improvements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in SEO and WordPress development
• Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
• Hands-on experience with WordPress CMS (themes, plugins, customization)
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript, and PHP (preferred)
• Experience with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, Search Console)
• Knowledge of website speed optimization and Core Web Vitals
• Understanding of UX/UI principles and conversion optimization
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with e-commerce websites (WooCommerce)
• Familiarity with local SEO strategies
• Basic knowledge of hosting, DNS, and server management
• Experience with content strategy and copy optimization
