Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a keen interest in the culinary arts. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by delivering high-quality service and ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests, presenting menus and providing detailed information about menu items.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the Aloha POS system.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Process payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate cash register operations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure food safety standards are met and maintained.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting up and clearing tables.
• Provide recommendations on food pairings and specials to enhance the dining experience.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Knowledge of culinary practices, food safety regulations, and fine dining etiquette is preferred.
• Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers is essential.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations, including sales techniques to upsell menu items effectively.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Previous experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
