Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, while maintaining proper sanitation standards
• Assist with food handling, food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
• Manage reservations using OpenTable or similar platforms to optimize seating flow and guest experience
• Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Demonstrated culinary experience or understanding of food preparation and food safety protocols
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently through effective sales techniques
• Experience with guest services, host/hostess duties, bussing, and basic math for cash handling and order calculations
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and food industry regulations to ensure safe food handling practices
