Position: Server, part-time

Schedule: varies; less than 30 hours a week and includes working nights; 4-8:30pm, weekends and holidays.

Pay: $15.00 - $15.86 per hour, depending on experience.

Position Summary: The Cypress of Charlotte is recruiting for a hospitality focused Dining Room Sever to join our fine dining culinary team on a part-time basis! This role provides full-scope, hands on serving functions within the community.

Primary Responsibilities:

Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always.
Exhibit dining room appearance and presentation standards always.
Set tables and maintain workstations in proper order. Take order, provide service and requested items both graciously and courteously. Answer pertinent questions about menu items.
Serve customers using proper serving etiquette and promote an inviting dining atmosphere.

Qualifications:

Must be age 16 or older.
Experience in food service work preferred but will train.
Experience in working with seniors preferred.
Ability to interpret and explain menu, refer or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understands requests.
Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.
