Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to efficiently manage multiple tables in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a vibrant setting, delivering memorable dining experiences while showcasing your hospitality expertise. Must know have US citizenship and know how to use Toast POS systems.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, offering recommendations and upselling specials to enhance the dining experience.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly, addressing any concerns promptly, and providing attentive service throughout their visit.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and assisting with food safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and proper food handling procedures.
  • Assist with guest relations by creating a welcoming atmosphere, resolving issues professionally, and fostering repeat business.
  • Support other restaurant operations as needed, including host/host duties or food prep assistance during busy periods.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully.
  • Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
  • Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales opportunities.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and billing procedures.
  • Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/host or bussing is advantageous.
