Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
  • Assist with food handling, food preparation, and sanitation standards to maintain safety and quality
  • Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage bookings efficiently and optimize seating arrangements
  • Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
  • Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables promptly and supporting kitchen staff with basic food prep or restocking as needed
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for bills and tips
  • Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and creating a welcoming atmosphere

Experience

  • Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is highly desirable
  • Experience in serving, bussing, hosting/hostessing, or guest services enhances your ability to excel in this role
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
  • Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
  • Excellent communication skills paired with a friendly demeanor to build rapport with guests and team members

Pay: $20.00 - $50.00 per hour
