Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that guests have an enjoyable dining experience, from taking orders to delivering food with precision and care.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
• Take accurate orders using Chowbus POS systems.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math for bill calculations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with OpenTable for reservations is advantageous.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments accurately.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.
• Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is beneficial for menu understanding and guest inquiries.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $900.00 - $1,500.00 per week
