Duties

• Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, while upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and presentation.
• Manage multiple tables with excellent time management skills to deliver timely service during busy hours.
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards.
• Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, specials, and wine pairings to elevate the guest experience.

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures.
• Experience in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations.
• Ability to perform basic math for bill calculations, cash handling, and transactions accurately.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism.
