Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role involves providing outstanding customer service, accurately taking and delivering orders, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience. Prior experience in food service, fine dining, or hospitality is highly valued, along with familiarity with POS systems such as toast. A strong focus on food safety, sanitation, and guest relations is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and adherence to food safety standards
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and resetting tables for new guests
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns professionally
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and wine pairings to assist guests effectively

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for handling bills, cash transactions, and upselling products
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights; prior host/hostess or serving experience is advantageous
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment while providing an exceptional guest experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $25.00 per hour
