Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance their dining experience.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and communicated clearly to the kitchen.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
• Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Manage table settings, clear dishes, bus tables promptly, and assist with general restaurant cleanliness to uphold sanitation standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems and perform basic math calculations for billing purposes.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and host/hostess team to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours, including nightclubs or high-volume events.
• Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring every guest leaves satisfied.

Experience

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for order processing and cash handling.
• Proven ability to manage time effectively during peak hours while maintaining quality service standards.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling techniques.
• Experience in upselling beverages or menu items to increase sales is a plus.
• Excellent guest service skills with a focus on hospitality, guest relations, and creating memorable experiences.
