Restaurant Bartender

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, taking drink orders and offering recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
• Manage cash handling, POS transactions (including Aloha POS and Micros POS systems), and billing accurately to ensure smooth service flow.
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly, identify signs of intoxication, and intervene appropriately to promote safety.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy hours or special events such as banquets or private parties.
• Uphold all food handling regulations, beverage laws, and responsible serving practices within a lively nightclub or restaurant setting.

Experience

• Previous experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant, nightclub, or banquet environment is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders seamlessly during peak hours.
• Proven customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for diverse guests.
• Experience in food safety procedures, alcohol serving regulations, and responsible beverage service practices.
• Familiarity with catering events or banquet setups is a plus, along with retail math skills for accurate cash handling.
