About the Role:

As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to our guests by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service. Your primary objective will be to ensure customer satisfaction through accurate order taking, timely food and beverage delivery, and addressing any guest needs or concerns promptly. You will collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate orders and maintain smooth service flow. This role requires a strong focus on communication, multitasking, and maintaining a positive atmosphere in a fast-paced environment. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to building customer loyalty and enhancing the overall reputation of our establishment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or food service role.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Ability to handle multiple tables and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Multilingual abilities to assist a diverse customer base.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring order accuracy and presentation standards.
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or special requests.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate timely order preparation and delivery.
  • Handle guest payments and process transactions accurately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and server stations.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.

Skills:

The required skills such as communication and interpersonal abilities are essential for engaging with guests and understanding their needs to provide personalized service. Basic math and POS system knowledge are used daily to process orders and payments accurately, ensuring smooth transactions. Multitasking and organizational skills help manage multiple tables and coordinate with kitchen staff efficiently, maintaining timely service. Preferred skills like familiarity with food safety standards ensure compliance with health regulations, contributing to a safe dining environment. Additionally, multilingual skills enhance communication with a diverse clientele, improving overall guest satisfaction and inclusivity.


Benefits:

Full time employees maintaining an average of 25 hours a week have an option to enroll in medical insurance and an HSA account while those who maintain 20 hours can choose to enroll in dental, vision, voluntary life, and pet Insurance. Employees are enrolled in the company’s 401k plan with an annual discretionary match after 500 hours of employment. Sick Leave is available for all front of house employees and accrued at 1 hour for every 40 hours worked.
