<Responsibilities>

• Greet guests warmly, provide menus, and answer questions about food, beverages, and specials with enthusiasm
• Accurately take orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments via POS systems
• Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to sanitation standards in food handling and food safety protocols

<Qualifications>

• Must have 2+ years of serving experience
• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments
• Must have wine & beer experience (2+ Years)
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Strong culinary knowledge and food industry understanding to assist with food preparation insights when needed
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours
• Skilled in guest services, upselling techniques, and building positive guest relationships
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and transaction accuracy
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is highly desirable; experience in bussing or supporting kitchen staff is a plus
