Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient communication with the kitchen and bar staff
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning service areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to maintain a clean and organized environment
• Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize guest flow in fine dining or nightclub settings

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Proven ability to manage time efficiently during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with food preparation, bussing, host/hostess duties, or cashiering enhances your ability to excel in this role
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations are essential
