<Responsibilities>

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and friendly service throughout their visit
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
  • Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while enhancing the guest experience
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
  • Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction
  • Assist with food handling, preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
  • Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
  • Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering procedures while maintaining accountability for cash handling
  • Support kitchen staff with basic food prep when necessary and adhere to all sanitation protocols
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy nights or events such as nightclub evenings

<Qualifications>

  • Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
  • Proficiency with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous
  • Strong customer service skills with an energetic, positive attitude
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction
  • Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
  • Experience in serving or host/hostess roles within the food industry is highly desirable
  • Culinary experience or kitchen background can be beneficial for supporting food prep tasks
