Duties

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, providing recommendations when necessary.
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring that all items meet our quality standards.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations throughout service.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables and guest needs efficiently.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, providing excellent customer service at all times.

Experience

• Previous experience in a server role within a fine dining environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with food safety practices and food preparation techniques is beneficial.
• Strong math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy service periods.
• A background in guest services is advantageous, showcasing your ability to create memorable dining experiences.
• Culinary knowledge is a plus, as it enhances your ability to communicate menu details confidently.
