Server

The Bay Bar and Grille has reopened after an extensive remodel and we're looking for more servers to join our already stellar team. We’re looking for enthusiastic, friendly servers to help us welcome back the community and deliver memorable dining experiences.

We’re open daily for lunch and dinner, so we’re looking for both day and evening staff. While restaurant experience is preferred, we’re happy to train the right candidates. We offer full-time and part-time positions, and all team members MUST be available for at least one weekend shift. We’re flexible and can accommodate many school schedules. Part-timers must work an average of three days per week.

Responsibilities:

• Anticipate customer needs and provide consistent, efficient service
• Answer questions about the menu and preparation
• Provide accurate orders to the kitchen and bar staff
• Use computerized point of sale system effectively
• Cash, check, credit, and debit card handling
• Liquor, beer, and wine handling
• Effectively and respectively communicate with all staff, management, and customers
• Pre-bus/bus tables while ensuring section is clean and stocked
• Daily side work and cleaning duties
• Other duties/tasks as necessary or provided by management
• All serving staff is trained on host, busser, and expo
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Must be 18+ years old
• Previous experience as a server is preferred
• Food Handler's certification preferred
• Montana Responsible Alcohol Seller/Server certification preferred
• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Ability to memorize relevant menu and service information
• Attention to detail
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to regularly lift 5-10
