Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Manage table settings, clear dishes, buss tables efficiently, and assist with food preparation when needed
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse customer needs
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing and cash handling purposes
• Previous experience with serving in a fast-paced environment that demands adaptability and teamwork
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for learning about food preparation is valued

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
