Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Assist with food handling, preparation, and bussing to support smooth restaurant operations
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with precision, including cashiering and basic math calculations
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
• Support host/hostess duties when needed, including seating guests and managing waitlists
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders in a fast-paced environment
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
• Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and billing
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and relations
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to multitask efficiently using excellent time management skills in busy settings
• Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities without compromising guest experience
• Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience preferred but not required; hospitality background highly valued
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends in a fast-paced environment
