Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and food safety protocols
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Manage table settings, clear dishes, buss tables efficiently, and assist with food handling and sanitation practices
• Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
• Maintain excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive dining atmosphere

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience with food preparation, bussing, hosting/hostess duties, or cashiering enhances your ability to excel in this role
• Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales upselling
