Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus confidently, offering recommendations and upselling specials to enhance their experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all dietary needs and preferences are noted
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Manage guest inquiries with professionalism, providing attentive service to foster guest satisfaction and repeat business
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, including cash handling and math calculations
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support overall restaurant operations
• Utilize reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements efficiently
• Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure compliance with sanitation regulations and food industry standards

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest relations professionally
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts without compromising service quality
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
• Familiarity with OpenTable reservation system for managing seating efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Basic math skills for accurate check processing and cash handling
• Experience in serving at nightclubs or similar high-energy venues is advantageous

Pay: $21.27 - $25.62 per hour
