Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service. This role involves engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit. Prior experience in fine dining or food industry settings is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems and food safety standards. The Server will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering memorable guest experiences.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus, offering recommendations and upselling specials to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and resetting tables for new guests
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods to answer guest inquiries effectively
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues promptly
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing needs courteously and efficiently

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
• Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights; experience in serving or host/host roles is advantageous
