Duties

• Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance guest satisfaction
• Take accurate orders using POS systems ensuring timely delivery
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
• Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and basic math calculations accurately at checkout
• Maintain guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen or bar staff during busy periods to ensure smooth operations

Experience

• Prior restaurant experience in food service or hospitality environments is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Experience in fine dining settings or nightclubs enhances your ability to deliver exceptional service in upscale environments
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations is essential
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience provides a solid foundation for guest interaction and service excellence
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales upselling techniques
