Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant food and beverage team. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences by providing attentive, friendly, and efficient service in a dynamic dining environment. Your role is vital in creating memorable moments for our guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and enthusiasm. Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and present menus with enthusiasm, highlighting daily specials and beverage options.
  • Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all dietary restrictions and preferences are noted.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a clean and organized service station.
  • Upsell menu items and suggest pairings to enhance the guest experience, increasing sales opportunities.
  • Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns swiftly, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems, process payments efficiently, and provide correct change.
  • Maintain sanitation standards by adhering to food safety protocols, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation guidelines.
  • Assist with food preparation or bussing when needed during busy periods or special events such as nightlife or nightclub nights.
  • Support team members by coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth service flow.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Server in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably with fine dining or nightclub experience.
  • Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations management.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
  • Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
  • Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and accurate bill splitting.
  • Previous experience in food industry roles such as host/hostess or busser is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of food preparation processes and kitchen operations is a plus.
  • Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
