Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest happiness
• Assist with food handling, proper sanitation practices, and food safety protocols to uphold health standards
• Support other restaurant operations including bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting hosts/hostesses as needed

Experience

• Previous restaurant experience in a fine dining or casual setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience in food industry roles such as serving, bussing, or host/hostess positions is advantageous
• Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and accurate billing are essential

Pay: $12.00 - $25.92 per hour
