We are seeking a dedicated and personable Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. Experience with food and beverage service, along with strong communication skills, is essential to succeed in this role. Candidates with a background in fine dining, hospitality, or food industry settings will find this position aligns well with their skills and career goals.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems - Toast
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
  • Ensure timely delivery of orders and check on guests throughout their meal
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS or cashiering systems
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in accordance with sanitation standards
  • Assist with bussing tables and resetting for new guests as needed
  • Address guest inquiries promptly, providing excellent customer service and guest relations
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation and delivery
  • Follow all food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
  • Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
  • Experience in food preparation, serving, bussing, or host/host roles is advantageous
  • Flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, or holidays as required by the restaurant schedule
