Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately and efficiently during transactions
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to answer guest questions confidently

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle guest relations professionally
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a positive attitude
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is a plus for providing seamless guest experiences
• Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous for understanding food preparation and presentation standards
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure smooth service flow
