Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Breakfast Server to join our team in providing exceptional guest experiences during morning hours. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer relations skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive breakfast service, ensuring a positive dining experience
• Take and accurately relay guest orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Clear tables efficiently, bussing and resetting for new guests
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with food preparation or setup as needed, ensuring timely service during busy mornings
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring guest comfort
• Support team members with opening procedures, including setting up dining areas and verifying supplies

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality industry preferred, especially in fine dining or breakfast settings
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and revenue
• Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
• Experience with serving, bussing, host/hostess duties, or nightclub service is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours during morning shifts; previous restaurant experience highly valued
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
