Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Manage cash handling, billing, and cashiering responsibilities with accuracy and integrity
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues promptly

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightlife settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales tracking
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food handling safety, sanitation procedures, and basic math for cash handling
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
