Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system Toast.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Manage tables effectively by monitoring guest needs, refilling drinks, and clearing used dishes promptly
• Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, assisting with food handling, and supporting kitchen staff when needed

Experience

• Previous restaurant experience or food industry background preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Proven customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse situations professionally
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order entry and payment processing
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in serving or host/hostess roles that demonstrate excellent guest services and hospitality skills
• Basic math proficiency for cashiering duties including cash handling and making change
