Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and proper food handling procedures
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance the guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining sanitation standards to ensure a clean dining environment
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately through POS systems like OpenTable or cashiering processes
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for efficient order processing and cash handling
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and create welcoming atmospheres
• Culinary experience or understanding of food preparation, sanitation, and food safety protocols
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a positive attitude
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience preferred; familiarity with food industry standards is a plus
