Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS ensuring clarity and efficiency
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Manage cash handling, billing, and cashiering responsibilities with accuracy and integrity
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar area, and service stations by bussing and resetting as needed
• Follow food safety protocols, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation standards at all times
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns quickly
• Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements for optimal flow
• Support guest relations by addressing inquiries professionally and ensuring a memorable experience in both restaurant or nightclub settings

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightlife exposure
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Toast POS
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and handle guest concerns gracefully
• Culinary experience or background in food preparation enhances your ability to answer menu questions confidently
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours without compromising quality
• Ability to upsell menu items naturally while maintaining genuine guest engagement
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
• Experience with host/hostess duties or nightclub serving roles is a plus but not required
• Strong communication skills paired with a positive attitude to foster guest satisfaction in fast-paced environments
