Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly demeanor
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently followed during food handling and service
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting dining areas to ensure a smooth flow of service
• Use reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently and maximize seating capacity
• Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing questions, concerns, or special requests professionally

Requirements

• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightlife settings is preferred
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Toast POS, Aloha POS, or similar platforms
• Culinary experience or understanding of food preparation enhances service quality
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively
• Proven ability in sales techniques such as upselling and suggestive selling
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience with guest services roles like host/hostess or bartender is advantageous
• Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and bill splitting accurately
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment
