Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems ,ensuring clarity and efficiency
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Manage cash handling, billing, and processing payments accurately using POS systems like OpenTable and cashiering procedures
• Maintain food safety standards by adhering to sanitation, food handling, and food preparation protocols
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting dining areas to ensure a seamless flow of service

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently
• Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is a plus for understanding food preparation and presentation
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and inventory management
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is desirable but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is essential
