Duties

• Greet guests warmly, present menus confidently, and assist with menu selections to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while providing excellent guest service
• Manage table settings, clear dishes, and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting environment
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, using POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting food industry best practices in food safety and sanitation

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle guest inquiries professionally
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor
• Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation and presentation standards
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and transaction accuracy
