Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during food handling and serving
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately and process payments promptly using POS systems
• Build positive guest relations through excellent communication, personalized service, and attentive follow-up

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially breakfast settings.
• Familiarity with POS systems is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not required
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
• Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and order calculations are essential
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is advantageous for creating welcoming guest interactions
