What you’ll do

• Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
• Utilize POS systems to accurately process orders and manage payments efficiently.
• Demonstrate culinary expertise by answering menu questions and making recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations while preparing and serving food.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special requests or dietary restrictions.
• Assist with bussing tables and maintaining a tidy dining area to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
• Foster positive guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally.

Basic qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is essential, with a strong understanding of fine dining standards.
• Proficient in basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation protocols to ensure safety in food preparation.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
• Background in hospitality or guest services that emphasizes strong interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures, including cashiering responsibilities.
