Server

Position Summary:

The Server will be responsible for providing a table side service to all guests in the dining area and bar area. Servers will greet all guests, answer any questions or make recommendations for additional services, and assist the restaurant in maintaining efficient service.

Essential Functions:

• Greets guests with enthusiasm and provides excellent customer service.
• Prepares food, collects payments, and prepares drinks as needed.
• Maintains proper food storage and distribution in cooler. Sells hot items to customers, including drinks and food.
• Prepares for and follows Samu bar sushi hibachi ’s safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Maintains a clean work environment by keeping dining room, restrooms, kitchen and front desk clear.
• Follows all health code standards including the use of protective equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience:

• 1 year minimum experience serving in a professional restaurant environment preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards in the restaurant industry preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation and service techniques preferred.
